Constant Velocity - Position-Time Graphs

Directions: On this worksheet you will review some of the properties of position-time graphs when the object is moving at a "constant velocity."

Question 1  The y-axis, representing position, is scaled so that each square (vertical division) represents 12 meters. The x-axis is scaled so that each square represents 1 second.

What was the cart's instantaneous speed at 1.5 seconds?
Question 2  What was the cart's average speed during the first 11 seconds?
Question 3  Where was the cart located at exactly 14 seconds?
Question 4  What was the cart's instantaneous velocity at 18 seconds?
Question 5  What was the cart's instantaneous velocity at exactly 21 seconds?
Question 6  What was the cart's average speed for the entire 17 seconds?
Question 7  When was the cart traveling in a positive direction?
